NT Lumberjacks are serious about protecting the environment and always try their best to have as little impact as possible, on surrounding areas, wildlife and their habitats, while carrying out our works.

We think it’s important to minimise disturbance on habitats and keeping the wildlife populations balanced, by creating mulch or log piles. Our chainsaw equipment uses biodegradable oil, which is a step towards a cleaner environment. We always practice the best pruning procedures ensuring trees are kept in good health and appearance.

As part of our environmental policy, nearly all of our green waste is recycled. The wood chippings/mulch are used in gardens. The logs where possible are turned into hardwood flooring or decking.

If appropriate for the customer (in woody areas), we will leave a practical amount of waste onsite, for use in mulch or log piles. This is one way we encourage wildlife and reduce the impact we leave on the area.
